Lately I've been playing with my mobile and I've found three nice instant messaging applications you could find interesting:

1. Nimbuzz;
2. Fring;
3. Palringo.

I've had not time enough to try them (I don't even answer to my friends on Messenger...), but maybe you could find them useful.
